The Saint Mary Magdalen School CARES Program offers extended day care, which reflects a faith-filled, developmentally appropriate environment. We strive to provide an environment that is both individualized and age-appropriate to each child.

CARES is open to all students enrolled at Saint Mary Magdalen School in Grades PreK3 to 8.

A student must be registered with the CARES Program in order to attend. The program offers a balance between adult directed and child initiated activities, active and quiet times, indoor and outdoor games, a provided snack, and time for written homework.

CARES is directed by Mrs. Maribeth Hill, Pre-K teacher, and Mrs. Eileen Pry, Computer teacher. The program is staffed by a number of devoted and committed teachers.

Our staff works together to maintain an environment where respect and understanding for others is realized. CARES will be open every day school is in operation, excluding early dismissals. The hours of operation are Morning CARES from 7:30 to 8:15 AM and Afternoon School CARES from 3:00 to 6:00 PM. If school should have an early closure due to inclement weather, then CARES will not operate that afternoon.
